West Australians join the NDIS in WA conversation
Three hundred people with disability, their families and carers came together over two days to join the conversation about the National Disability Insurance Scheme in Western Australia.
The two-day community event, ‘The NDIS in WA Conversation’, was launched by Disability Services Minister Stephen Dawson.
The event was hosted by the Disability Coalition, a collection of advocacy organisations, consumer representative groups and peak bodies in the disability and mental health sectors, in partnership with the Disability Services Commission.
Comments, ideas and feedback from the event will now be collated and inform the next steps in policy, delivery and design.
