Progress reporting for DAIPs

Reporting to the Department of Communities, Disability Services, 2019-20

Public authorities are required to report on their progress in implementing their Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs) by Friday, 31 July 2020

Officers listed as DAIP contacts with the Access and Inclusion team will receive an email outlining the approach to DAIP reporting this year. If you have not received an email,  please contact access@dsc.wa.gov.au. The DAIP Progress Reporting template is at the bottom of this page.

Public authorities are encouraged to include photographs of DAIP activities. A permission form to ensure people have agreed to their picture being used is provided below.

The Minister for Disability Services uses the information provided to develop a report that showcases the work being done by public authorities across Western Australia, highlighting examples of best practice and demonstrating the value of DAIPs. This report is tabled in Parliament. Copies of recent reports are available here

Reporting in your annual report

Under the Disability Services Act 1993, public authorities must include a report about DAIP implementation in their annual report each year.
